Rediscover the Rivers in the Portland Metro Area

This bi-state project has identified 14 Lewis & Clark river-landing sites in the Portland-Vancouver area, and focuses on a wide variety of projects from signing to major trail construction. Still in the initial planning state, the goal of the Rivers Project is to link all the sites in both Oregon and Washington – an approximately 40-mile loop that includes the Columbia, Willamette and Sandy rivers. The first phase will implement minor improvements and install signage to identify and interpret the sites for visitors.
